ECSTATIC DANCES!!!!
The described effects of ecstatic dance include a feeling of connection with others, indeed of "universal relatedness", and with the dancer's own emotions; serving as a meditation, providing a way of coping with stress and restoring serenity; and serving as a spiritual practice.
Ecstatic dance is a free form of dance with the goal to achieve ecstasy. This is a natural state in which your awareness shifts and you get to experience a meditative and happy state of mind through body movement.

When we step on the dance floor, we include our whole selves, even the frightened parts that want to hide
I would call it "dance meditation". Movement meditation. Therapy. Treatment.
Close your eyes, turn off your mind, listen to the sounds of the journey, and move as your body wants to move. Letting out your inner child, getting rid of all bad emotions, tension, and psychological and physical fatigue.
I would call it a spiritual experience. Socializing with people. I felt like after an hour of really good meditation. I left the hall completely relaxed, happy, and clean. I didn't leave alone, I left with peace.
I think these dances work not only as internal therapy but also as self-knowledge. You start to understand how the body wants to move. Does your body want to move wider or narrower? Angular or wavy? Does it like to be watched? Or do you like dancing alone? Is your feet are attracted to the ground? Maybe you need to trust yourself more and not think twice about what others think.
Bad emotions, fatigue, anger, and sadness, accumulate in physical cells, ecstatic dances help to shake off, shake off all the rubbish and get into all the senses and the environment.
While practicing Ecstatic Dances, I realized that my movements are very wavy, plastic, very soft and feminine, divine. I like to dance with my eyes closed, then I focus all my attention on the hearing, the music, and the feeling of myself. And I like being watched…
During various activities, during ecstatic dances, we performed various exercises, for example, we divided into groups of three people, one danced, the other watched the dancer, and the third watched both. People who have watched me have told me that at first, my movements are wavy, then eventually I move to more angular, sharper, more aggressive moves. At first, I don't dance with my feet at all, and when I get more immersed in the music, I start dancing with my feet as well.
I adore Ecstatic Dance, I practice it as often as possible at every festival, event, or even in my room. Because when I dance, I feel very free, happy, and very self-confident.
My first ecstatic dances were in Palanga, at the "1000 Suns" festival, then I tried it at festivals like "Yaga", "Zero Waste" and "Sapfo". I went to an ecstatic dance event in Nida, and I also practice it at home.

I would really recommend ecstatic dance to everyone because it will free your mind, and body, and bring you a lot of positivity and joy for the rest of your day! Movement meditation is as powerful as mind meditation
